Gamma Zeta Alpha
Fraternity, Inc. is a unique fraternity in which brothers share a
sense of awareness of their role in the Latino community and in our
society. Recognizing their position as college students, leaders,
professionals and role models, Gammas come together to become a
positive and influential force throughout the state. Having
Diabeties as our philanthrophy, has lead us to set up diabeties
awarnes to the community as a whole. The fraternity is
structured to promote and enhance the academic, leadership and
professional skills of our members. Gamma Zeta Alpha strides to
develop the Latino leaders of the future.
One of the most
important aspects of our fraternity is the manner in which we
portray our brotherhood to the public. Since our inception, our
image has been carefully conceived and presented. Our choice for
Greek letters and fraternity colors reflect the consideration we
undertook to ensure our Latino culture is well represented within
our brotherhood. Our public image is further enhanced by the fact
members of our fraternity do not consume alcohol while wearing our
fraternity's Greek letters.
Finally, we stress and
expect academic excellence by each of our brothers. The ultimate and
most powerful image we present, as an organization, is a brother
graduating from college. As an organization, Gamma Zeta Alpha
believes producing college graduates is the most influential manner
in which to help out Latino community. The expectations that come
with being a Gamma are what sets Gamma Zeta Alpha apart from others.
Being part of our family is a life-long commitment. Graduating from
college is just the one phase in our never-ending involvement to our
hermandad. A wife of an Alumni member once asked, "When does
your involvement in the fraternity end?" The answer was simple:
NEVER. Roles and responsibilities will change, but a brother's
commitment and involvement will always be welcomed. Our brothers
will continue to improve our families, communities, and society; to
do less is to not fulfill the expectations of being a
GAMMA.
