After two years of dedication, perseverance, and unwavering resolve – The Omicron Chapter of Gamma Zeta Alpha was officially recognized by California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo on September 22, 2005.  The 10 Founding Fathers laid the foundation for an organization to foster the development of professional leaders and unite minority groups within the educational system and our communities.  The chapter continues to improve and contribute to our own communities.  Every member of this organization makes it their priority to fulfill the goals and mission of the fraternity. 

The diversity of our own chapter is evident in our membership and a tribute to the ideal of unity and diversity we strive towards.  This is a unique aspect of our chapter that we each hold with great pride.  With an eagerness to participate, contribute, and grow – The Omicron Chapter progresses with the confidence that our members will realize the fraternity’s goals with the same level of pride, dedication, and integrity displayed by its Founding Fathers.
